3rd Annual Plant Sale
Uncommon Gardens and the Center for Grief Loss and Transition invite you to their 3rd Annual Plant Sale Thursday, May 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Uncommon Gardens, 5750 Lyndale Avenue South in Minneapolis.

A generous portion of the proceeds of sales on this evening will be donated to the Center for Grief, Loss and Transition to offer help for those healing from trauma, complicated grief, loss and life transitions.

Comedy Benefit
The Center for Grief, Loss and Transition & Comedysportz present: an evening of improvisational comedy, coffee and dessert Thursday, May 29th @ 8 p.m.

Grief Group Facilitator Trainings
This one-day experiential and didactic workshop is designed for people interested in facilitating grief support groups or wanting to increase the skills they already have. The seminar addresses questions such as:

Healing From Complicated Grief and Trauma
A Community Forum

This community forum is for individuals and families who have experienced the traumatic death of someone they love. In a supportive, understanding and caring environment, participants will explore how ever-changing grief is and its on-going impact on our lives. There is no cost for this community forum event.
This event, originally scheduled for Thursday, February 1, 2007, at Unity Unitarian Church, 732 Holly Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota, has been postponed until a later date.
Groceries for Good Causes
Kowalski's Grocery now has a receipt box in the front of each store for the Center for Grief, Loss & Transition. They will be donating to our mission quarterly, based on the number of store receipts placed in our box.

Tom is a marriage and family therapist at the Center with a special focus on trauma. He is also a clinical supervisor, consultant, writer, trainer and critical incident de-briefer. (more)
Sarah provides therapy to individuals, families, groups and children. She has worked in school settings and with young mothers, teenagers and children. (more)
Katie worked with individuals in a college setting for ten years before becoming licensed in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also taught developmental education, career development and study skills courses to young adults at the college level. (more)
